Dear echelon, it is so much fun to watch you all hate and love #MARS every time they reveal a new song. I promised to myself I won’t listen to anything until I buy the actual album so I have no right to tell you whether you’re right or not. All I’ve got to say is, don’t judge their new music by the first song you hear. Cause you might reject something you could eventually love. And the same goes to fans of all the bands out there! Give your favorite artists a chance if that’s how they feel!

Right now, there are a few of you who are being abused, cheated and self-destructive. Some feel worthless and insecure. Some are at the point where taking your own life is easier than going through another day. If you feel like this…please, take a deep breath and keep reading…
You are not alone.
I’ve read countless letters from fans who have been where you are. And there is good news! They’ve made it though. A girl who had become pregnant after a rape, is working on forgiving her trespasser. A young woman who was cutting and burning herself discovered self-worth by finally speaking about her past, and bringing her issues to the light. A planned suicide avoided after realizing there is strength in laughter.
People. Understand that you are not alone.
The folks who have overcome their battles all have one thing in common. They have the courage to tell someone about their struggle They are bringing their secrets to light. That’s the first step. Please, take a second and tell someone what is going on. Being honest and getting away from the lies will bring so much healing to your life. It may not happen overnight, but it will start the process.
You may think you are the only one going through this…but I promise you, someone close to you is dealing with their own/similar issue too.
We are not perfect and I am far from perfect. But when I was dealing with my own junk, the only way for me to overcome was to share with someone who cared about me. we all have our issues. We all have our flaws. Please, go talk to someone. It’s okay to struggle. It’s a part of life. But it’s possible, in time, this will just be a phase in your life that will develop you in to the man/woman you are suppose to be.
I LOVE YOU. Thank you for sharing with me. You have no idea how much you mean to me. THANK YOU.

“Carlos why are you so cool, why cant there be more people in the world like you?”
Someone told me that the other day and i said “haha im not cool and i guess because nobody wants to strive to be a better person”
Let me just start by saying that this is my opinion and that you’re entitled to yours.
I honestly think the reason why guys are not what they used to be is simply because they don’t want to be. (the same goes for girls)
- It is not impossible to stay faithful to one person.
- it is not impossible to have a good time without beer and hooking up.
- it is not impossible to save money and take care of your responsibilities.
- it is not impossible to speak properly around a lady.
I can keep that list going on and on but at the end of the day it comes down to an individual choosing to be one way over the other.
This may seem obvious to everyone but the more i think about it the more it upsets me. Im not upset that these things happen im upset that the same people that wish they could be better are the same people choosing not to be.
Next time someone treats you kindly remember that they also had the option to treat you like crap (which seems to be the trend now) and decided not to. Next time you say “man i wish i could be like that person” remember that you totally could. Next time “next time” comes around please choose to be a better person.
